For vacation rental owners

Give guests another reason to choose your property.

HealthPad brings recovery expertise, wellness technology and hospitality together to create a more distinctive guest experience, with options ranging from equipment installation to complete property operations.

The flagship property

We built one first. Here is how it performed.

Fightingtown Creek HealthPad is our own property in the Blue Ridge Mountains, converted around recovery, movement and sleep and launched as a new listing. Figures are actuals from our reservation system of record for its first twelve months. Performance varies by property, market and pricing.

Who you are working with

A recovery operator and a hospitality operator.

Sean's background in professional hockey and building a performance training business for elite athletes informs the recovery experience. Michele brings more than a decade of real estate and hands-on vacation-rental hospitality experience. Together, they built and operated the first HealthPad.

The experience

What a HealthPad adds to a property you already own.

Every property is different. HealthPad combines recovery expertise, hospitality experience and property economics to select the technologies that make sense for each home. We consider how guests will use them, the space and infrastructure they require, and how they contribute to the property's appeal.

Contrast

Sauna, cold plunge and hot tub, placed where the property makes them worth using.

Recovery technology

Red light, compression and percussion, chosen for what guests ask for and what the space can hold.

Wood-framed home gym with a squat rack, barbell, kettlebells, dumbbells, bench, and forest views.

Movement

A dedicated place to train, whether that is a lower level, a converted garage or a room facing the view.

Neutral bedroom with white bedding, green throw, wood furniture, and a large window overlooking a forest.

Sleep

Bedrooms adjusted for restorative sleep: blackout, lighting, temperature and better bedding.

How owners work with us

Three ways to work with HealthPad.

Some owners want the wellness build and nothing else. Some want the build plus HealthPad distribution. Some want the whole property run for them. Start at the level that fits your involvement and your plans for the house.

handyman

Technology and install

We plan, source and install the wellness equipment and the spaces around it. You keep your manager, your listing and your pricing, and add something guests cannot get from the rental down the road.

public

Technology and distribution

Everything in option one, plus HealthPad distribution: the health and wellness positioning, listing and photography support through the Standard, and direct booking through HealthPad. Distribution is subject to the property meeting the Standard, with availability and booking arrangements that work with the network.

The complete experience

The only one of the three that runs the property. HealthPad designs, installs and operates it on the full health and hospitality system: pricing, guest communication, turns and vendors. For select qualifying properties, HealthPad may provide and fund the wellness amenities as part of a longer-term operating relationship, eliminating the owner's upfront equipment investment.

From first look to first booking

How we make it work.

Four stages, in order, from the first look at your numbers to a property that is earning. You will know what happens at each one, and who does it, before it starts.

01

Evaluate

We assess your property against its market, identify the wellness opportunities worth considering, and compare the estimated investment with the potential impact on revenue, operating costs and owner net.

02

Design and select

We plan where each element goes in your home and choose the equipment and finishes that fit the space, the guests and the budget.

03

Source and install

We source the equipment and coordinate delivery and installation with vetted trades, planned around the calendar your bookings already set.

04

Position and operate

We launch the offering you chose, whether that is equipment and a guest experience documented and ready to sell, distribution that brings the property into HealthPad, or complete operations where we set pricing, photograph the stay and run guest communication, turns and vendors.

From our guests

Guests experience the difference.

Reviews from LiveWell Creekside, the first HealthPad, where the sauna, the cold plunge and the gym come up without prompting.

A hidden gem in Epworth! Wonderful creekside location, with spa-like amenities for a rejuvenating getaway.

Ross
Atlanta, Georgia

Visited with my whole family, which included 13 people with ages ranging from 4-85. Michele's place was the perfect cabin to house all of us; it felt like more than enough space, with little nooks and crannies with something for everyone to do and escape for a bit if they needed. The creek is so peaceful, and all the wellness amenities are great: the gym and hot tub were our favorite, but the cold plunge and sauna were awesome too.

Common questions

Yes. On the equipment and distribution options you keep your manager, your listing and your pricing, and we handle the wellness build. If you want HealthPad to operate the property, that is the complete experience, and we would plan the handover with your manager rather than around them.

For select qualifying properties, yes. On a complete experience conversion HealthPad may provide and fund the wellness equipment as part of a longer-term operating relationship, so you are not buying it up front. We tell you what is possible for your property early, before you commit to anything.

We look for a property worth traveling to, room to add meaningful recovery, movement and gathering spaces, economics that work as a business rather than only in photographs, and an owner who wants something more distinctive than the rental next door. If we do not see it, we will say so.

Most of the work is planning, sourcing and installation, and the timeline depends on equipment lead times and the trades in your market. We give you a schedule once we have looked at the property, so you know what happens when.

We plan installation around the calendar you already have wherever we can, and we tell you which weeks the property needs to be clear. Most owners use a slower season rather than cancelling nights that are already booked.
